July 20, 2006 -- Express Pattern has tapped Remet Corp. as its exclusive sales representative to the U.S. investment casting market. Based in Vernon Hills, IL, Express Pattern is a supplier of materials and equipment to investment casters. It creates investment-casting patterns, such as the QuickCast and Themojet products, and functional prototype parts noted for accuracy, consistency, repeatability, and high-quality surface finishes.
Remet supplies materials and equipment to the investment casting industry, including refractories, binders, and waxes.
Remet will represent the QuickCast and Thermojet direct pattern services of Express Pattern to investment casting foundries, and the two companies state that by teaming they will provide precision investment casters with “high-quality products, value-added solutions and support, leading-edge technical innovations, and personalized customer service from Concept to Casting.”
“We feel that the direct pattern services provided by Express Pattern are a natural extension to the broad range of high performance products and services we already offer to investment foundries,” stated Remet president and CEO John Paraszczak. “We also feel that rapid prototype and short run direct patterns offer a new area of opportunity for foundries to compete not only against foreign competition, but against alternative metal manufacturing methods.”
