The CGV-900 offers built-in compliance, allowing the unit to compensate for irregularities in part surfaces and maintain contact with a workpiece. The compliance force is adjustable, so users can fine-tune finishing processes in real time.

The Heavy Duty Dry Vac system is effective for collecting abrasive materials including blasting media metal chips or sand

Heavy-Duty Dry Vac

March 25, 2013
110-gallon capacity Compressed air-powered 82 dBA

EXAIR CORPORATION’s new 110-gallon, premium Heavy Duty Dry Vac system is a rugged, industrial-duty vacuum cleaner engineered to vacuum high volumes of dry material rapidly.  The higher-capacity drum means that fewer drum changes will be required during clean-up. Because this compressed air-powered vacuum has no motors or impellors to clog or wear out, it is ideal for the clean-up of abrasive materials like steel shot, garnet, metal chips, and sand, yet can be used also for general purpose applications.

It is extremely quiet at 82 dBA (half the noise of electric vacs), making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. The 0.1-micron filter bag that traps particles when vacuuming dusty materials keeps surrounding air clean. It is covered by a five-year warranty.

The 110-gallon Heavy Duty Dry Vac system is supplied complete with a 10-ft (3-m) static resistant hose, 20-ft (6-m) compressed-air hose, shutoff valve, pressure gauge, heavy-duty aluminum tools, tool holder, drum dolly, and a 110-gallon drum.

Systems for other drum sizes are available also.
