Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is revising its corporate structure by consolidating the wholly owned Neenah Foundry subsidiary. Two Neenah Foundry plants in Wisconsin and Florida will continue to operate, with no changes to the operations or workforces, but no longer as a wholly owned subsidiary.
In 2022 Charlotte Pipe acquired the Neenah Foundry plants in Neenah, WI; Deeter Foundry, Lincoln, NE; and Reliance Foundry, Vancouver. The latter was sold to private-equity investors in 2023.
In late 2021, Neenah had acquired some former U.S. Foundry & Manufacturing assets in Medley, FL.
The Deeter Foundry closing was announced in September 2025.
Neenah Foundry will continue to be recognized as a product line within the organization, along with other branded products representing Charlotte Pipe’s U.S. Foundry and Bingham & Taylor holdings.
The new Charlotte Pipe and Foundry will be restructured with three commercial divisions: Plumbing, Irrigation, and Infrastructure. The Infrastructure division will offer the Neenah Foundry, U.S. Foundry, and Bingham & Taylor product lines.
“Charlotte Pipe and Neenah Foundry have both laid strong foundations,” stated CEO Hooper Hardison. “Both companies have been in operation for more than a century - 125 years for Charlotte Pipe and 150 years for Neenah. We are excited about linking our expertise, resources, and people to build an even more strategic company.
“Over the next year, alignment will take place across HR, IT, and finance operations to better support the updated commercial structure,” Hardison added.
