The clock is running toward 2035 – the deadline for businesses to neutralize their carbon liabilities, whether or not the technology or resources are available to do that.

In less than 10 years the moment will arrive when every manufacturer will be liable for the carbon it emits or causes to be emitted – and that’s a prospect that is driving future planning for foundries and steelmakers. But it’s an issue that will spread throughout the manufacturing supply chain.
