The decision follows the loss of its major customer General Motors Corp., to which Trimag had supplied nearly all of its high-pressure diecastings. GM cancelled its business with Trimag due to low automotive demand. Read more

The JV will produce heavy-duty vocational trucks for sale in North America, and will form a 50/50 joint venture to “pursue global commercial truck opportunities” elsewhere in the world. Read more
