KWIK MARK INC.’s U.S.-built iTeach dot-peen marker gives manufacturers the ability to place high-quality marks on parts and products consistently and quickly, promoting productivity. The patented iTeach “jog and teach” functionality allows operators to use the dot-peen marking tip as a “pointer” to define the text path.
No prints or part dimensions required, and no measuring or layout tools are needed. Also, no programming experience is necessary.
Recently, the iTeach has been made available with more features, upgraded controls, and more memory. The new features allow the user mark text on a radius by touching any three points along an arc or hole; the machine will automatically figure out the radius, starting and ending angles, and place the text perfectly on this radius.
To mark text on an angle the user can touch any two points along the angle/edge and the machine will automatically figure out the angle and place the text perfectly along this angle.
To mark text within a defined area, the user simply touches two opposite corners of a rectangle and the machine will automatically fit the text (both height and width) within this rectangle.
To mark text in several defined locations the user touches one point per line of text to define the starting point of a text line; the machine will automatically set the X-Y position for the line.
