Compressed-Air Technology for Everyday Use
BOGE AMERICA INC.’s new E series air compressor combines a stable compressed-air supply with robust, durable components and an economically favorable overall balance. The oil-lubricated screw compressor incorporates proven technology, “made in Germany” quality, and a low purchase price, while operators benefit from an established service and after-market program.
The E series is aimed at users who require solid basic equipment without extended premium functions and who depend on compressed air in daily operations. With these compressors, E stands for ‘easy’ – and thereby for a compressed-air solution that is uncomplicated, economical and focuses on the essentials.
At the heart of the series is the low-maintenance and durable air end, developed and manufactured in Germany according to the highest quality standards. It is combined with an efficient drive motor and the patented BOGE GM drive system, which ensures constant belt tension in every operating phase. There is no need to re-tension the V-belt. The design deliberately relies on established standard components so that maintenance and the supply of spare parts is easy and cost-effective.
Another feature of the series is the low temperature difference between the ambient air and compressed air at the outlet, which is made possible by the generously-sized coolers. A low outlet temperature forms the ideal basis for subsequent effective treatment of the compressed air.
The E series comprises various models with different housing sizes from 4 to 30 kW and maximum pressures of 7.5, 10, and 13 bar, including versions with optional frequency control for compressed-air generation adapted to requirements.
For applications in the lower output range up to 15 kW, complete systems with integrated dryer and compressed-air receiver are also available – ideal for companies that require a compact, central compressed-air system that is ready for immediate use. The integrated BOGE Base Control microprocessor monitors all relevant operating parameters and reliably protects the compressor from possible damage. This also includes automatic frost protection at temperatures down to -10 °C. The control analyses current demand and automatically selects the most efficient operating mode. Potential faults are recognized early, effectively reducing unplanned downtime.
BOGE's established warranty program allows the compressor to operate for many years. The maintenance concept is clearly structured and based on defined service packages that bundle all relevant wear and filter components. This ensures that maintenance can be planned, carried out efficiently and tailored to the system’s state. Defined package contents also prevent unnecessary individual parts from having to be replaced.
