Metalcasting ERP developer B&L Information Systems has added a new ‘payroll/HR partner’ to its Odyssey enterprise software suite, meaning foundries and diecasters have another option available to coordinate those functions for their enterprises.
Odyssey is an enterprise software designed specifically for metalcasting organizations, to provide reliable and effective access to necessary information for managers and operators across the organization, so work can be completed on time and on budget.
The Odyssey platform has modules that meet the specific needs of metalcasting's five major roles — management, accounting, sales, production and quality.
Paylocity is cloud-based payroll processing and human-resource software platform. For Odyssey customers, it will provide transfer capabilities “to access, integrate, migrate and consolidate time and labor management, healthcare, 401(k) and other retirement plans, as well as insurance.”
“Paylocity came to our attention as several B&L customers using Paylocity added Odyssey’s financial modules to their ERP environment,” explained Matt Gacek, vice president – Business Development. “Paylocity is structured much like B&L, with a heavy percentage of programmers to meet customer needs and react to changes in the market.”

B&L will continue to partner with ADP and keep that payroll/HR application available to Odyssey subscribers.
