Weatherly Casting & Machine Co. in Weatherly, PA, recently purchased a Carrier Vibrating Equipment Vertical Shakeout and Sand Conveying System for their No-Bake flask cleaning line. The vertical shakeout has a working area of 14' x 14' and includes heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant decks and rider bars. The system also incorporates a steep inclined "V" trough and flat-deck conveyor. Both conveyors include heavy-duty drives and bolt-down hoods for a cleaner environment. Indian Group Buys Matrix Metals The Sanmar Group has acquired Matrix Metals L.L.C. from Jeffries Capital Partners. Matrix Metals operates three steel foundries: Keokuk Steel Castings in Keokuk, IA; Matrix Metals, in Richmond, TX; and Acerlan S.A, in San Juan del Rio, Mexico. Read more |
