Metalcasting, primary metal, thermal processing events return to mid-June dates

The organizers of GIFA, the quadrennial trade show for metalcasting equipment and products, have set a mid-June schedule for the next staging of the event in 2015. GIFA is presented simultaneously with three related events: METEC, an exhibition of equipment and products for primary metal production; THERMPROCESS, covering thermal processing equipment and products; and NEWCAST, which presents advanced designs and capabilities in cast products.

The four events will run from June 16 through June 20, 2015, in Düsseldorf, Germany. All are staged by Messe Düsseldorf.

“We are delighted to have found another date in the early summer, which will certainly help to create a good atmosphere for discussions and business transactions in the halls on the exhibition site,” according to Messe Düsseldorf’s project manager, Friedrich-Georg Kehrer.

The 2011 staging of the four events took place at the end of June and early July. It drew almost 2,000 exhibitors in total, according to Messe Düsseldorf, and drew 79,000 visitors from 83 countries.

“We hope that this momentum is maintained over the coming three years as well,” according to Kehrer.
