GF Group Outlines Downsizing Plans
Industrial group Georg Fischer AG is reducing its operational structure and cutting corporate operating costs by 350 million Swiss francs (est. $330 million,) explaining that it has been “heavily affected by the present economic crisis.” CEO Yves Serra added, "The structural program creates the conditions for GF to emerge strengthened from this crisis and to benefit from its good market position." NovaCast Takes New Order for Heavy Castings
The order includes production of a set of die shoes, as well as construction, completion, and testing of stamping dies. It also includes construction and casting of a press pallet weighing approximately 6 metric tons. Read more
