AUTOMATION PRODUCTS INC. – Dynatrol® division bulk solids DJT level indicators provide high-, intermediate-, or low-point level detection in hostile, high-temperature environments, including in dusty environments and in vessels equipped with vibrators.

The DJT’s rugged design ensures reliable level measurement for applications that include sand, gravel, and rock, crushed stone, ore, talc mine, crushed dolomite, and recycled crushed concrete, as well as lightweight aggregates: clay, pumice, perlite, vermiculite, etc.

With no moving parts or gaskets and seals to deteriorate it results in low operating costs. All detectors are factory calibrated and do not require any field calibration before installation.

Specialized units can be used with temperatures up to 500°F.

The basic principle of operation: When the probe is uncovered, it is free to vibrate and produces an output signal. This signal operates a relay that indicates the probe is uncovered or that a low level exists. When the probe is covered a dampening of the oscillations occurs, the output signal is no longer present, and the relay indicates a high level exists.

Installation is simple: The detector is mounted through a three-quarter-inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection, eliminating costly flanges, float chamber, or fittings. The separate control unit permits installation at any convenient location.

Field-proven, Dynatrol® point level detectors are constructed for a long operating life. Requiring no adjustments they are virtually wear-free. They are approved for Class I, Group D; Class II, Groups E, F & G; and Class III services.
