in order to achieve higher investment security and reduce costs.

Georg Fischer Automotive, one of Europe's largest producers of cast-metal automotive parts, is standardizing its design data communications and visualization with Actify Inc.'s SpinFire Professional software platform. San Francisco-based Actify indicates that GF Automotive has been using SpinFire Professional for six years at various locations, which aided the decision to expand and standardize the "solution" for GF Automotive's 13 operations in five countries.

"We have decided to use SpinFire Professional as the central data visualization and communication solution in order to achieve higher investment security and reduce costs," stated GF Automotive chief information officer Uwe Kruse. "With SpinFire Professional, we can increase collaboration in the design process and shorten development cycles, while improving quality and customer satisfaction."

Actify Inc. lists over 500 manufacturing companies as customers, and 10,000 licenses on active maintenance. Actify's partner Infotech Enterprises GmbH, is supporting GF Automotive in the implementation by analyzing the needs of each location.
