The Messe Düsseldorf exposition group announced the next staging of the GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST events have been set for June 12-16, 2023, in Düsseldorf, Germany. “I am delighted that we have once again found a date in the early summer since this timeline has proven to be very successful,” stated Friedrich-Georg Kehrer, global portfolio director for Metals and Flow Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf.
The four trade fairs bring together manufacturers, suppliers, and developers for metallurgy and foundry technologies. GIFA 2023 will be 15th International Foundry Trade Fair with Technical Forum. METEC is a forum for the primary steel industry, and THERMPROCESS is devoted to the interests of industrial thermal processing.
NEWCAST is an exhibition and conference dedicated to casting product design, for major series manufacturing programs as well as more specialized or customized production programs. has developed into an internationally important trade fair.
The 2019 staging of these trade fairs drew a total of 2,368 exhibitors, filling 12 exhibit halls in Düsseldorf, and about 72,500 visitors from around the world. The organizers report the event fostered "numerous investments, spontaneous business deals, and a lively exchange of know-how between exhibitors and trade visitors …"
In 2023, the schedule again will span five days, but will they will begin on Monday and conclude on Friday. “This meets the expectations of the international industry, as our exhibitor and visitor survey has shown,” Kehrer explained.
